The Call:
Calling all enthusiasts of biomedicine, cell biology, and bioengineering! Are you passionate about leveraging the power of artificial intelligence for a good cause? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
We cordially invite you to participate in our contest by submitting AI-created images that are somehow related to Rheumatoid Arthritis. These images can be illustrative or iconographic representations of the disease, its impact on patients’ lives, or even depict potential cures. Each image should have a concise title (up to 60 characters) and a brief, easily understandable description (up to 300 characters).
You are welcome to submit up to three pictures, preferably in landscape orientation and with a minimum resolution of 150 dpi (uncompressed format). There are several free AI tools available that can assist you in creating these images, such as OpenAI’s DALL-E, DeepArt, and RunwayML. Feel free to explore and utilize these tools to enhance your artistic creations.
Please ensure your contributions are sent together with your author details (name, surname, institution, email address) to projects@znc.si no later than the 10th of July, 24:00 CEST. Kindly use “AI-ARThritis” as the subject line of your email.
A panel of experts, comprising members of the FLAMIN-GO consortium, will evaluate all submissions based on their informational value and aesthetic impact. The accompanying description will also be taken into consideration during the evaluation process. The results of the contest will be published on the websites flamingo-joc.eu and znc.si in mid-July.

If your pictures meet the required format and quality standards, we would like to request your permission to display them on the Flamin-GO and ZnC web pages, as well as their respective social media accounts. The final decision will be made in collaboration with the authors.
